What do I have to do?
There are four steps to this process
Step 1: Order
- If required, we will prepare a customized offer for you.
- For larger quantities, we will be happy to prepare a draft service agreement.
- You can also use our Service Portal online platform for easy order entry.
Step 3: Define extras
- Additional as-found examination
- Information about the repair order
- DAkkS calibration certificate
Step 4: Shipping
- Packing of pipettes
- Shipping to your local service center
- Collection by our courier driver (please inquire about availability)
What happens in the service center?
Recording and necessary repairs
- Receiving inspection and as-found examination (if requested)
- Interior cleaning and servicing of the devices
- Leak testing
- Completion of necessary repairs (after approval of the repair)
Measurement
- Measurement according to DIN EN ISO 8655
- Evaluation based on manufacturer limits (standard, ISO limits or customer SOP)
- Adjustment if the device is outside of these maximum permissible errors
- DAkkS calibration certificate on request (please specify this in the order)
Packing and return transport
- The device is packed ready for shipment with a calibration certificate and a service report
- Each device receives a test seal with the date when the next test is due
- Return transport via shipping or courier
Invoicing
- You will receive the invoice separately after the order has been completed and shipped

How often should you calibrate a pipette?
You decide on the calibration frequency as part of your test equipment monitoring. The frequency of calibration can vary depending on how often the pipettes are used and by how many users, as well as the type of liquids dispensed and the accepted maximum permissible errors. A renewal of conformity is, however, recommended at least once a year.
